Where do you go for Sunday Lunch?
I think the best place to have sunday lunch is Paquita’s.
They have the most amazing tranquil setting, friendly service, it’s great
value for money and the food just tastes divine. All that mixed in with an awesome vibe and you get THE perfect way to end
off a hectic week.
Hi
I have no doubt that the rare roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes & an excellent assortment of tasty vegetables with home made horse radish sauce must be the best Sunday lunch in Knysna. By now you are drooling to find out who can offer such a lunch for R45 together with quality wines at competitive prices & also has tasty starters & sweets to die for. I should really keep this a secret because it may spoil our regular visits but in the interests of sharing with other Knysna residents I will let you know its Pembreys. Oh! on top of all this is the fantastic service from long serving waitresses & the husband & wife team of Peter (cook) & Viv (front of house). What more could you ask for?
See you there!!
Not only is Sirocco known for its Sunday lunches but for its great hospitality and service. There food is absolutely outstanding. They offer a ala carte menu which has a great variety to choose from. If i could recommend a meal it would be there trinchados which is a very well known Portuguese meal which is whipped together with pieces of indulging fillet steak and whole ripe tomatoes with a tinge of spices, but if you are not a spicy person try there seafood dishes. you can never go wrong!
They have a beautifully decorated section upstairs which offers a gorgeous view of the knysna lagoon so you can eat at your grace.
Together with there great food and beautiful views of the knysna lagoon they also offer live music from 12 to 3 pm. so not only does there food make your mouth water, there restaurant is filled with great atmosphere and good company!
This is an extravagant experience not to be missed!
As Sirocco says “immerse your senses!”
hello to who it may concern
i think its the island coffee shop, very good value for money and lovely plate of food.
On Sundays when the clock strikes noon
We like to head for our lagoon.
We make our way to Knysna Quays
To catch the fresh and salty breeze.
The Drydock is the place to eat,
It’s always such a special treat:
A smart but friendly, vibey place -
And what’s more, the food is ace!
